Xiamen Hordor Architecture & Engineering Design Group Co., Ltd. is reorganized out of original Xiamen Architecture & Design Institute, established over 40 years ago, after the latter’s reformation.
Original Xiamen Architecture & Design Institute was reorganized into Xiamen Architecture & Design Institute Co., Ltd. in 2003 after the system reformation. Since then, this company has formulated the strategy of “Create our own famous brand products and strive for good socio-economic benefits” and carried out the pioneering and innovating work by adhering to this strategy to make our company become finer and larger and make the design work as our major business and become more protruding, and, based on this, our company has been striving for the integrated operation mode to form gradually a consistent industrial chain that offers the consultation for the whole process of engineering construction. Based on the business tactics of “Open up markets outside the company and stress on the management inside the company” and on the management modes of “cultural management, strategic management and operative management”, our company has extended its business to Fuzhou and South Fujian Golden Delta as well as the whole Fujian Province from Xiamen as the center, and further set foot in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Dalian, Qingdao, Nanchang, Kunming and Jinan. Our company was in possession of a powerful competitive ability in the same industrial section due to its prospective business strategy, modern management, and team of qualified professionals, due to its operation thought of “top system, top mechanism, top products, top services and top benefits” and also due to its individualized and distinguished enterprise culture. Till now, over 50 engineering tasks completed by this company have been awarded prizes for performing excellent engineering exploration and excellent engineering design and for making science & technology progress at levels of state, ministry, province, and East China region respectively. In the meantime, our company has been awarded prizes for “being most innovative in reformation and development during 2001-2005” by East China Joint Meeting, Branch Association of Design, China Architecture Association, awarded the honorary title of “Distinguished enterprise in the field of exploration and design in 2006” by China Exploration & Design Association, and the title of “Distinguished Institution in the field of exploration and design in 2006” and “Top 10 private architecture & design enterprises in China” by Fujian Exploration & Design Association.
Now our company is in possession of the standardized system of modern enterprises, the effective and rational mechanism for exciting and restraining its staff members, and the responsive and scientific capability to cope with the market change. The collection of qualified professionals takes a noticeable effect in our company, over 100 core members from other institutions have been admitted to our team since the reformation of system, and for this reason, its prime operating revenue had been increased to over 200 million RMB in 2007 from the previous over 10 million RMB, which results in good economical and social benefits. The system reformation itself is not the aim, and the aim of reformation is to develop more rapidly. The solution of the problem as to the mechanism is more important than the solution of the problem as to the system. Our company has been striving for developing and creating a platform for the healthy growth of qualified professionals, and we feel convinced that our strategic target at the second stage in 2009 will be reached along with the consistent perfection of our effective operation mechanism.
Our company and the subordinate mutual shareholding companies and stock-holding companies established jointly “Xiamen Hordor Architecture & Engineering Design Group” in August of 2007 along with the advance of “the strategy of integrated operation”. This group has incorporated some dozens of companies engaged in design, planning, intellectualization, machinery and electronics, consultation and real estate, including two design companies of class A--“Fujian Hordor Architecture & Design Co., Ltd.” and “Nanchang Architecture & Design Institute Co., Ltd.”, and therefore our company has been renamed as Xiamen Hordor Architecture & Engineering Design Group Co., Ltd. after the system reformation. Now Xiamen Hordor Architecture & Engineering Design Group takes its root in the Economic Zone on the West Bank across the Taiwan Straits, creates its famous brands to satisfy the demands from whole China and the whole world, and reinforces its strength to make its due contributions to the society.
